CZ USA walks us through features of CZ Shadow 2 Compact 9mm Pistol – New for 2024!

Hi everyone, Lucas from CZ here at SHOT Show, and I have a new CZ Shadow 2 Compact. So there might be folks who will already know CZ Shadow 2 platform, it’s a very well-known platform, and it’s dominated the competition world for quite some time already. And we wanted to bring a compact because CZ’s well-known for bringing in compacts and clones. So this is the CZ 75. So when this case, we have changed very few things about that. We have made a completely different pistol out of it. So on the one side, it shares all the controls and features we all love on a Shadow 2. It comes with a shorter and smaller package, and also with a different material used on a frame. So with the frame, we went with a 7075 aluminum, which is probably the best metal you can use if you want to stick with the aluminum body. And then we also changed the color of the grips to make it look different. So we have silver/gray grips. We also have an optic-ready platform as a standard feature, and we did some change internally: We have changed the angle of the forcing cone in the barrel, so this one shoots even more accurate than its adult predecessor. So it’s a very cool pistol. We have saved a lot of weight. There’s a significant weight reduction of this one, perfect fit for a concealed carry or just for fun playing on the range. There might be some competition use as well. So, the pistol comes standard with a 15-round magazine, and it features a 4-inch barrel.
