Hey guys, I’m Jay Duncan with Jacob Grey Firearms coming to you from the Shot Show 2024, here in lovely Las Vegas. I want to talk to you today about the features of Jacob Grey TWC 9. This is a new double-stack 1911. It is completely CNC machine from billet aluminum. That’s what really differentiates this new handgun from some of the others in the market. What I mean by that is, here’s your grip, right? So this is the CNC machine from a full billet of aluminum and is anodized hardcoat, and then can go into the new Jacob Grey TWC 9. We’re looking at a capacity of 17 rounds in the TWC 9, we’ll also offer it for 15-round capacity for states that have restrictions and such.
Another great feature about the Jacob Grey TWC 9 pistol is our controlled radius trigger. The controlled radius trigger is a somewhat flat design and again, you can see that it’s CNC-machined out of billet and then is hardcoat anodized. About three-and-a-half pound trigger pull, super crisp. Another CNC component that we’re doing is the beaver tail. Again, completely CNC-ed out of billet aluminum and anodized to go in your gun.
The Jacob Grey TWC 9 has completely ambidextrous hand gesture control. So you can see we’ve got a safety on both sides, has a magazine release. The slide itself is built out of 416 stainless, and then it is black nitride coated. We’ve got a four-and-a-quarter-inch barrel in this TWC model, and it comes standard with an accessory rail.
What are the unique features of Jacob Grey TWC 9?
The Jacob Grey TWC 9 pistol comes optics-ready. What I mean by that is that you get an integrated rear sight and two different mounting plates with your firearm. So you’ll get a mounting plate for the RMR pattern and then another mounting plate for the RMSC pattern. So you don’t have to go and buy aftermarket equipment to attach your red dot.
