Hello, Mark Witt with Barrett firearms. We’re out here at range day and we’re going over Barrett’s new product, which is the MRADELR. If you are familiar with the Barrett standard MRAD, this is his big brother.
So what we have it is chambered in 416 Barrett what you can see right here and we’re shooting a 452 grain projectile. The rifle similar to the MRAD is uses barrel interchangeability, along with the bolt face with it. You can go from 416 Barrett to the 375 CheyTac & EnABLR. We will offer barrel maker kits for it and then you can get it chambered how you would like it on those. It comes with two 5-round magazines.
It is a 36 inch barrel match-grade and just like all the Barrett line it is made out of the box to be able to go out and shoot some ELR and compete and win. it comes with adjustable cheek rest and adjustable shoulder pad. For the barrel changeability the difference with it versus the standard Barrett MRAD, if you see there is three screws right here while the standard MRAD has two.
You’re going to loosen these three, open the bolt out, the barrel will come out to change to 375. You will have to replace a firing pin and the bolt face you’ll put in take your new barrel for slide it in each screw you’re going torque to 140-inch pounds and now we’re ready to shoot with a different caliber. With the Barrett MRADELR, we competed in the King of the Two Mile and this year We will play second place in it with the rifle that it was just out of the box ready to go.
