Hey, I’m Brandon at Show Show. We’re in the Ruger-Marlin booth and I have here the Marlin 1895 Trapper. Now the 1895 are in 45-70, this one happens to be a 45-70, and the Trapper model, you can just see the features on this thing. What a handy rifle. It’s got a 16-inch barrel. Ultra-short, very compact, very maneuverable, great for going through brush through the woods, any of your outdoor uses. These are threaded barrels. You can’t really see it. It’s a concealed thread but there’s actually a thread protector on there. So it looks really attractive, but you can take that off, you can add multiple brakes, suppressors, anything you want to the end of this barrel. It’s 5 + 1 of 45-70, and you know 45-70, it’s a really long cartridge. That’s all you’re going to get with the 16-inch barrel. And of course, the wood: this is a nice attractive gray laminate stock. Laminate is going to hold up great out in the outdoors, in the wet weather, and then of course, it’s stainless steel. This is a satin finish stainless steel. You got the big loop on there, which you can get into that with a gloved hand or whatever it is you need to do, and another tremendous feature that I just love on this gun is the Skinner sights. So you got that rear peep sight. You got a nice thin ramp up there with a white line on it. These are great to see in all kinds of conditions. So these are the main features of Marlin 1895 Trapper in 45-70. There’s a whole family of Marlin rifles. 357s are out, 30-30s, we got the classic series, the SPL series, I know you guys are looking for them, great place to find them is on GunBroker.com. For more information, you can go to the Marlin website.
