Hey everyone, Eric here with Sig Sauer at NRA 2024. One of the products we’re showcasing today is the Sig Sauer M17 vs Sig Sauer M17X, and the Sig Sauer M18X. This is a take off of the M17 that’s released to the commercial market based off the standard issue army gun. The differences between this gun and the army’s gun is there is no manual safety on this model. It has the X series grip module on it with a metal magwell, it comes with the same two 21-round mags and a 17-round magazine. This gun actually has the contract M17 slide cut which allows us to put the ROMEOM17 red dot optic mounted directly on it so it comes mounted from the factory with the red dot optic. So this is the 4.7” M17X but we also have the 3.9” M18X.
