Chuck Larsen Shares the Features of Rock River Arms 1911 Production Pistol in 45ACP – Made in the USA

Hi, I’m Chuck Larson, Rock River Arms. Today, we’re introducing our new production pistol, something that we’ve never done on a 1911 is do a production gun, it’s always been custom. For 2024 we introduced this, it’s got a custom proprietary checkering on the front strap, on the back mainspring housing, up into the grip safety. It’s going to come with G10 grips, built in magwell, all the custom features across the slide, bull barrel, stainless steel, 45 ACP.
It’s got a fluted, I guess you would call it, on the chamber end of the barrel, just to give it some fancy cuts, nice clean profile. Around the trigger area where your finger indexes in, we’ve scalped that way deeper than normal off of a traditional 1911 so it helps with the gripping of the handgun.
Lets talk more about the internal features of Rock River Arms 1911 Production pistol. As you can see the barrel channel is cut for a supported chamber barrel, two-piece guide rod system and on the front end the barrel is got the nice chamfered all the way flush mount with a front in the slide, and then a full profiled reverse plug on this. Coatings are going to be offered in both nickel boron and black nitride. MSRP is $1500. One of the best features of the new pistol this year is, its 100% made in the USA.
