Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Position: Chief Technology Officer

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled CTO with a storied history in the technological sector. CTOs are tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with its vision for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.

You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert for Ammo Inc / GunBroker.com, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

Required Technical Skills:

  • 8 to 10+ years of leadership experience managing large teams including vendors and partners.
  • 10+ years of experience with developing and operating on-premises, hosted, and cloud-based application, ERP, data platforms, business intelligence, infrastructure, and end-user platforms.
  • 15+ years of experience overall in the Information Technology field.
  • Sufficient experience in strategy and strategic planning, organization design, and development.
  • Proven experience in leading large, complex and/or transformational initiatives in dynamic environments while taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business operations.
  • Demonstratable experience leading and mentoring technical leaders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and instill confidence with peers and all key stakeholders.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.
  • Expertise in budget planning and financial management.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business.
  • Ability to identify and leverage resources internally and externally to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that drive digital business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT workforce.
