StealthMS5 – HM Defense’s New Integrally Suppressed AR15

The hallmark of HM Defense rifles rests in the company’s patented innovations designed to engineer a more accurate and dependable firearm.  Their newly released StealthMS5 and StealthMS3, integrally suppressed rifles, include two fundamental design patents at the heart of every AR15.  HM Defense, known throughout the industry for its patented MonoblocTM Barrel and HMB BoltTM, manufactures and assembles its firearms in-house, at its state-of-the-art facility in Mt. Orab, Ohio.  Coined the “Bombproof AR” by YouTube’s gun enthusiasts and “truly something different in the AR world” by Guns & Ammo magazine, HM Defense has seen continued growth in the military, law enforcement, and discerning consumer markets.

Details of the New StealthMS5 & StealthMS3

The StealthMS5 (5.56NATO) and StealthMS3 (.300 AAC BLK OUT) are both integrally suppressed AR15, semi-automatic rifles with a 16.25” OAL barrel.  The overall barrel length granter than 16” affords the consumers the SBR look and compactness without the SBR price and tax stamp.  The StealthMS5 and StealthMS3 are one stamp rifles weighing 7lbs, 14 oz.

HM Defense’s Stealth models are the first, truly integrally suppressed, AR15 rifles.  What does this mean?  It means that all other AR rifles claiming to be integrally suppressed, weld their suppressors to their gas block and barrel, effecting their accuracy, durability, and potentially compromising barrel integrity.  HM Defense’s integrally machined patented MonoblocTM Barrel allows HM to machine their suppressor as part of the barrel, from one solid steel barrel blank.  This eliminates the risks and safety concerns applicable to all traditional suppressors and their installation.

HM Defense’s Patented Monobloc barrel with integral gas block and suppressor.  Machined from one solid piece of steel.  Never pinned or welded.

The Stealth MS5 has a 4150 chromoly match grade 9-inch Monobloc barrel with integral 7.25-inch suppressor.  The rifle has a carbine length gas system and a 10-inch free floated handguard with M-LOK mounting points. The CNC-machined handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and was designed by HM Defense for the Stealth MS5 and MS3. The forged 7075-T6 mil-spec upper, lower receivers and rail have a hard coat 3 black anodized finish.  The baffles are made from 17-4 PH stainless steel and heat treated to H900.

HM Defense’s new integrally suppressed barrel offers the following advantages over traditional suppressors:

  • No pinning, welding, or alignment of the gas block and suppressor.
  • No other attachment methods are used.Free floated for improved harmonics and accuracy.
  • No suppressor adaptors to purchase or install.
  • No gunsmithing fees for suppressor installation.
  • No risk of loose suppressors or suppressor back off.
  • No risk of baffle strikes and liability of suppressor accidents.
  • Compact OAL rifle that does not require an SBR stamp.
  • Preset gas system (300 Blk Out) for subsonic and supersonic ammo.
  • Easily change from subsonic to supersonic without rail removal. Eliminates tuning the 300 Black Out.

The StealthMS5 and StealthMS3  rifles, with integral suppressors MSRP at $1,995.00.  You can find listings for the StealthMS5 and StealthMS3 on GunBroker.com.
