Hey guys, John Tamborino with SIG, what I have here in my hands is the MCX Spear. This is chambered in 6.8×51 as well 6.5 Creedmoor. As you can see here as we go through the features, stock is collapsible & foldable, so you fold it to the side. It’s a completely ambidextrous platform, to include safety selector bore release & mag release that is mirrored on the other side. The gun is unique in the fact that it has 2 different charging handles, the traditional AR charging handle here, as well as a side charger that allows the user to charge the gun without taking their face off the stock. This gun has been recently signed by the U.S. Army to replace the M4 & it’s currently in fielding. You can change the barrel out to change the caliber so all the internal stay the same, bolt, all that stuff stays the same. However, you change the barrel you can move to 308 to 6.5 to 6.8. At the top here we have our suppressor. All these rifles will ship with the muzzle device or the suppressor. So if you decide to purchase a suppressor later, you can just screw it right on the gun.
