Magpul launched the Sub-Compact Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG) for the Ruger RXM. A collaboration between Magpul and Ruger, the RXM is a pistol that maximizes customizability and value. Now, with the Sub-Compact EHG, the RXM is even more versatile.
Because of the Fire Control Insert (FCI), the RXM is an interchangeable chassis-style pistol. Users can swap between a full-sized to a compact and now a sub-compact pistol simply by moving the FCI. The EHGs come in Black, FDE, ODG and Stealth Gray. The RXM is a durable, accurate handgun at an attractive price. Folks outfitted it for the range, as a duty gun or as an ultra-concealable package thanks to the new Sub-Compact EHG.
The Subcompact EHG puts many of the same valuable features found on the original RXM EHG into a package for concealed carry. It has ¾-scale Magpul Trapezoidal Surface Projection texture on the front and back strap, side panels and the forward index pads. This provides a solid purchase, improving control during sustained fire.
The frame features an undercut trigger guard to further promote a sure grip. The magazine well is flared for faster and easier magazine changes. The magazine release scallop provides a recessed, easily accessed space for the ridged, textured mag release, enabling fast, efficient operation while preventing accidental activation. The new EHG also comes standard with a universal rail for mounting lights and lasers. All EHG RG9 grips are made from Magpul’s strong, rigid injection-molded polymer for durability and long service life.
The Sub-Compact EHG is compatible with Magpul GL9 PMAGs and GLOCK factory magazines. It ships with Ruger-manufactured magazine release, magazine-release spring, slide-lock spring and takedown-pin spring. All parts are ready out of the box. The Sub-Compact EHG for the RXM functions with many GLOCK Gen3 aftermarket parts and accessories. These include magazine releases, slide-stop components and GLOCK-compatible holsters.
