Century Arms continues to push the boundaries of the AK platform by collaborating with John Sharps of Sharps Bros on a new milled receiver AK47, the MB47. The MB47 is the latest in Century Arms’ line up of the U.S.-made AK47 platform.
The MB47 features a case-hardened billet 4140 milled receiver with manganese phosphate finish and optic-ready side mount. It is chambered in 7.62×39 and ships with a US Palm 30-round magazine. The MB47 is outfitted with premium components. These include the all-new US Palm free float MLOK handguard, Ultimak gas tube rail, RAK-1 Enhanced Flat Trigger and Century Arms US chevron compensator that is installed on a 5/8×24 threaded fluted and chrome lined 16.25-inch barrel. It even comes with a Magpul DT carbine stock with AR-15 mil-spec buffer tube.
“When it came to next steps for Sharps Bros, we wanted to partner with Century who we saw as someone who had a generational amount of experience,” said John Sharps of Sharps Bros. “So, it was a perfect collaboration opportunity.”
Through this collaboration, the MB47 shows how Generation Meets Innovation. The MB47 will begin shipping to customers October 1st, 2024.
