The Winchester Model 94 once again led the used lever action rifle category. Classic American lever guns remain a steady performer in the secondary market.

The Browning Citori maintained its position as the top used over/under shotgun. Buyers continue to favor established sporting platforms with long production histories.
Trend: Strong consistency from late 2025 into January.

The premium Wingmaster variant of the 870 led the pump shotgun category again. Quality construction and long-term reliability support stable resale demand.

The Ruger New Model Blackhawk topped the revolver category in January. Durable single-action revolvers continue to attract both shooters and collectors.

The SIG Sauer P320 remained the leading used semi-auto pistol. Ongoing modularity and widespread familiarity keep the platform competitive in the used handgun segment.

The Springfield M1 Garand led the semi-auto rifle category. Historic military rifles remain a resilient and active segment within GunBroker’s used marketplace.

The Remington 1100 Competition variant secured the top spot in the semi-auto shotgun category. Sporting-focused shotguns continued to perform well in early 2026.

The J. Stevens Model 311 posted the largest movement of the month, climbing from #5 in December to #1 in January within its category.
Trend: Increased buyer activity in classic side-by-side shotguns.

The Ruger No. 1 led the single-shot rifle category. Precision craftsmanship and collector appeal continue to drive steady interest in this platform.

Nine of ten category leaders held their prior #1 positions, signaling strong consistency in buyer preferences entering the new year.

With minimal rank changes across categories, January reflects market stability rather than sudden shifts.
Bolt-action rifles and shotguns continue to lead long-gun segments, reflecting sustained interest in traditional sporting firearms.
As the first month of 2026 concludes, the used firearms market on GunBroker shows continued stability and strong category leadership. February’s data will reveal whether these entrenched leaders maintain their positions or if new models begin to challenge for the top spots.
