With the $0 NFA tax stamp, AR-15 manufacturers are taking the opportunity to build more SBRs, integrating suppressors, and modularity isn’t a nice-to-have feature; it is defining the AR-15 space. The new AR rifles and pistols 2026 lineup showcases one of the most diverse years for the AR platform in recent memory. From updated AR-15 rifles to compact AR pistols and expanded large-frame configurations, manufacturers introduced a wide range of models at SHOT Show 2026. Maxim Defense and Advanced Armament Corp are two brands that are taking the integration of rifle and suppressor to another level. Brands like Ruger and FN took the opportunity to fine-tune and evolve their AR offerings. In this complete roundup, we highlight 24 new AR-style platforms, outlining key features, configurations, and emerging trends shaping the modern sporting rifle and pistol market.
Advanced Armament Corp’s new MPW lineup of AR-15s was designed from the ground up for suppressed shooting. The MPW series includes standard MPW models, MPWA ambi versions, and SD integrally suppressed platforms. Rifles are chambered in either 300 BLK or 5.56 NATO. Barrel length options in 300 BLK include 9- and 12.5-inch. In 5.56 NATO, barrel length choices are 10.3-, 12.5-, 14.5-, and 16-inch. All models feature ambidextrous controls, gas-mitigating seals, upgraded internals, and Magpul furniture. All MPWs are optimized to reduce gas to the shooter’s face and improve reliability when running suppressed.

The new DSI DS-25 Modern Fighting Rifle (MFR) has been engineered from the ground up to deliver extended reach, improved reliability and durability, as well as fast handling. Built on a true small-frame platform, the DS-25 MFR semi-auto rifle is chambered in either .308 Win. or 6.5 Creedmoor and weighs less than seven pounds. Features include a match-grade 14.5-inch medium taper profile, 416R stainless barrel that is button-rifled and hand-lapped to achieve sub-MOA performance, and an effective range of over 1,000 yards. The standard muzzle device is a Huxwrx 762-QD flash hider, which can be pinned and welded for users seeking a non-NFA rifle setup. Alternate suppressor adapters and muzzle devices are available. The free-floated 13-inch handguard has plenty of M-LOK slots to attach accessories, plus the barrel nut is made out of a new aerospace-alloy designed to improve thermal dissipation over standard steel barrel nuts to maintain accuracy and reduce thermal-shift effects during rapid or extended firing cycles. The billet lower receiver has fully ambidextrous controls: mag release, bolt catch/release, safety selector, and charging handle. It is equipped with a 3.5-pound flat-faced two-stage trigger with DLC coating. Furniture consists of a Magpul DT carbine stock on a 7-position, extended buffer tube that features SOCOM-style drain holes and triple rear vent holes for expelling gas and water. The grip is a Magpul K2+ rubber over-molded grip. The DS-25 MFR is finished in a Cerakote H-265 Flat Dark Earth over hard-coat anodizing. SKU: DSI-DS25-MFR-14M8-SB6-FDE, UPC: 496377086363, MSRP: $2,995.00

The new Harrier rifles are designed to deliver superior fit, function, and aftermarket compatibility. Harrier rifles are chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem. and feature mil-spec upper and lower receivers forged in 7075 aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing.
