Hey, I’m Brandon here at SHOT Show in the Ruger Booth, we’re talking about the Ruger PC Carbine. This is a 9mm carbine and it has a lot of really cool features. Now, this is a whole family of carbines, so there’s different versions, different stocks. This is one that I really happen to like, this is the Magpul Backpacker Stock, and what’s really cool about this, is obviously the way it collapses, right? So, I can pull that out. It is a takedown and I can go ahead and put that barrel on there. It twist locks, now I’m all set up. I’ve got the carbine ready to go.
Notice that the sights are mounted to the barrel. So, you never lose zero when you take the barrel on and off. Everything is always zeroed to the barrel. You’ve got Picatinny rail, which is milled into the receiver up here. You’ve got your charging handle and the controls on this are very similar to a lot of very similar classic rifles, just like a 10/22, this thing is so easy to shoot. And it’s 9 mm, so it’s very soft shooting. It is a lot of fun. Magazine goes here, but you also have a compartment in the back for a spare magazine.
Now the coolest feature of the Ruger PC Carbines is the Magwell. We talked about that. These Magwells can be removed and replaced. So, it comes with a Magwell for Ruger SR in American magazines, it also ships with a Magwell for Glock magazines. So if you’ve got a stack of 9 mm Glock magazines, this is the carbine for you.
