Scott Vilardi, FN 15 product manager, Introducing the FN 15 Guardian. The FN 15 Guardian is a reengineering of FN TAC3 line, removing the forward assist from the upper receiver. The FN 15 Guardian has a mid-length gas system, low-profile gas block and a 16-inch nitride coated barrel and 9310 steel bolt. The pistol grip and magazines are in-mold stippled for superior grip, with the 6-position stock offering a tight lock-up and an ideal cheek weld. The lower receiver is the 7075 forged aluminum receiver with the mill spec trigger group and magazine release and fire control. A 24-slot M-LOK® free-float aluminum handguard offers all the mounting real estate for lights and sights and an anti-rotation pinch-lock design mates to the upper receiver, ready to mount any optic.
