Remington Subsonic; Three New Rifle Loads for 2026

Remington Ammunition will launch three new rifle cartridges loaded to subsonic muzzle velocities in 2026. The new Boat-tail Hollow Point (BHP) loads include 360 Buckhammer 250-grain, 308 Win. 190-grain and 45-70 Govt. 300-grain.

The Remington Subsonic rifle load offerings will expand upon the company’s existing rifle, handgun and rimfire subsonic loads. They are engineered for optimal performance when paired with suppressors, loaded with custom powders and dependable primers. These loads’ performance and design prevent supersonic cracks. The enclosed base bullets also reduce lead buildup in suppressor ports.

“Remington Subsonic outperforms competitors superbly, without excessive noise. The product line is built for shooters who want quiet, consistent performance without sacrificing reliability,” said Remington’s Centerfire Rifle Product Director Mike Holm. “These new rifle loads expand the lineup with more options for hunters, training enthusiasts and tactical shooters who need dependable accuracy below the speed of sound.”

Each Remington Subsonic load is assembled with tight quality control and premier components to ensure consistent subsonic performance. Built for versatility, these loads provide quiet operation, reduced recoil and minimal shooter signature, making it an adaptable choice for hunting, training and tactical applications across a wide range of environments.
