One of the best recent movie series for gun enthusiasts has been the “John Wick” series. Here is a selection of some of the guns the character, brought to life by Keanu Reeves, uses through the three movies, and how you can get them for yourself.
Wick’s primary firearm throughout the first film, the Heckler & Koch P30L, is a longer version of the HK P30. Wick uses a 9mm model fitted with a custom compensator. You can find these on GunBroker.com
Wick’s backup gun is a Glock 26, a compact 9mm pistol. You can easily find these guns online at sale and auction sites, such as GunBroker.com. In the second movie, John Wick gets a Glock 26 with the TTI Combat Carry Package. These are occasionally available at auction, or you can have Taran Tactical Innovations, located in Simi Valley, CA, modify your existing Glock.
While in Rome in the second movie, Wick acquires a Glock 34 with TTI upgrades. The Glock 34 is a full-sized 9mm Glock with a slightly longer than standard slide. Below is a picture of TTI upgrades but on a Glock 17 Gen 3
Beginning with the church scene in the first movie, Wick uses a Coharie Arms CA 415 with a shortened barrel, which is an American-made clone of the H&K HK416, an AR-style rifle. The HK416 is not civilian-legal, while the CA 415 is. The HK416 uses a proprietary short-stroke gas piston similar to an AR 18 instead of the typical M4-style system.
During the second movie, John Wick uses two different Kimber 1911s. The first is a heavily customized Kimber Super Carry 1911 with a compensator. The second is a Kimber Warrior with SOCOM BLACK G10 grips.

During the subway fight in the second movie, Wick uses a suppressed Smith & Wesson SW1911SC “E-Series,” a 1911 with fish-scale-like serrations, a wooden grip, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and a two-tone color scheme. You can readily find these guns for sale online and at auction.
Taran Butler himself trained Keanu Reeves, and it’s no surprise that Wick uses a TTI TR 1 Ultralight AR-type rifle in Chapter 2. It is highly customized, with BCM furniture, a PRI comp, and a Trijicon Accupoint scope, with a canted RMR.
Wick’s shotguns of choice, the Benelli M4 Super 90 and M2 Super 90, both have TTI customization and a spare shell holder in front of the chamber. Both are 12-gauge semi-auto shotguns.
January 2025 Update: A Benelli M2 12ga Black 24″ Taran Tactical Custom John Wick 3 Edition is up for auction on CollectorsEliteAuctions.com part of the January 2025 Collection. Bid for your chance to own this Benelli M4 Super 90 JW3 Edition!
Another TTI, this 2011 model, an updated version of the venerated 1911, is chambered in 9x19mm “Major,” which offers more pressure than a standard 9mm. Wick uses it in the Continental shootout in Chapter 3: Parabellum.
During the shootout at the Continental, Wick also uses a TTI-customized SIG MPX 9mm carbine. It features a Trijicon MRO sight, Streamlight TLR 8 laser/light, a mag base pad providing 11 extra rounds, and a BCM stock.
