Precious metals have always had value. Gold, silver and platinum can cost quite a lot, especially since they are a hedge against rising inflation. The most affordable has always been silver, however, this precious metal has just hit $100 for the first time ever.

There are a lot of theories on why silver keeps getting higher, along with other metals. Inflation over the last few years is one, while another, if you listen to main-stream media, is the president and his “unpredictable” policies. No one knows for sure they why, but silver is still at an all-time high. It could just be because of global uncertainty with tangible assets being consider a safe haven on wealth.
