Born in 1992, it has the factory blue finish, 4 3/4″ barrel, 6-Shot fluted cylinder, fixed sights, gorgeous Color Case Hardened frame and factory Custom Shop walnut grips with gold medallions. The GunBroker.com listing states that it comes in the original factory Custom Shop box with a white sleeve and manual. Condition is very good showing light signs of handling and a turn line, according to the product listing.

Colt First Edition 357 Mag – Magnum Carry from the Colt Custom Shop

Built in the Colt Custom Shop, only 300 First Editions were produced. Born in 1998, this Colt MAGNUM CARRY 1st Edition in 357 Magnum caliber has a stainless steel construction, matte stainless finish, 2-inch barrel, fixed sights, 6-shot fluted cylinder, “1ST Edition” roll marked on the barrel, factory rubber grips, and custom stag grips. This Colt First Edition was up for sale on GunBroker.com and the listing states it came in the original factory Custom Shop box with original sleeve and manual. 1994 Colt Custom Shop SAA 44-40 Factory Ebony Fleur De Lis Grips

This Colt Custom Shop SAA chambered in .44-40 went up for sale on GunBroker.com in May 2023, Item #990574722. The Listing states that according to the serial number this model left the factory in 1994. It features a Royal blue finish, 4 ¾” barrel, fluted cylinder and rounded out with a factory set of Ebony Fleur De Lis grips. The overall condition of this 1994 Colt SAA is New Old Stock, has not been fired since leaving the factory, and the original box with Custom Shop end label is included in the sale of this custom revolver, according to the GunBroker.com listing.

A 1993 Colt Single Action Army SAA from the Colt Custom Shop went on sale on GunBroker.com in May 2023. This custom Colt revolver features factory an original Royal Blue / color case hardened finish, 5.5″ barrel, 45 Long Colt Cartridge, and a set of factory-original special order smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions in perfect condition. Listing included the factory original Colt Custom Shop blue box with white outer sleeve, manual, paperwork, hangtag, and original end label. The listings also states that according to their research, this Colt Custom Shop SAA was built in 1993, with the serial number S06501A. Listing also mentioned that very few SAA’s came out of the Colt Custom Shop with the Royal Blue finish, chambered in 45 Colt, and special order Walnut grips. This Colt SAA is As-New but was listed on GunBroker.com as Used: “In our opinion, this beautiful firearm is in Collector Grade condition showing only the slightest of consumer handling and use.”

This incredible Colt SAA came out of the Colt Custom Shop to commemorate the 175th Anniversary of Colt Manufacturing with only 175 revolvers ever made! This Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army SAA 175th Anniversary Edition went on sale on GunBroker.com, with item #989315003, in May 2023. 

It features a Royal Blue finish with gold engraving/inlay, a 7-1/2″ barrel, chambered in the iconic 45 Long Colt Cartridge, and a set of stunning factory original Colt black eagle grips in perfect condition, per the product listing description. The product listing also includes a factory-original blue Colt Custom Shop box with an outer white sleeve, manual, paperwork, hangtag, and the original end label. 

The serial number of this Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army SAA 175th Anniversary Edition is S61828A. This Colt SAA remains consumer unfired, and is listed as New Old Stock: “According to our research, it was built in 2011. In our opinion this beautiful firearm is in Collector Grade condition showing not one single spot anywhere on the mirrored Royal Blue finish,” – per product listing description.

This 175th-Anniversary Colt SAA from Colt Custom Shop was sold on GunBroker.com on June 11, 2023, for $2,525.00.

1995 Colt Custom Shop SAA Nickel 4 3/4″ .44-40 Dual Cylinder  – Colt Custom Gun Shop

This Colt Custom Shop SAA chambered in .44-40 went up for sale on GunBroker.com in May 2023, item # 989477236. The product listing states: “According to the serial number this example left the factory in 1995! It is wearing the stunning factory Nickel finish and equipped with a 4 3/4″ barrel. This example was sent back to Colt to have a .44 Spl cylinder fitted for it! It is rounded out with factory Sambar Stag grips that are out of this world! The overall condition is excellent showing very few signs of consumer use. It will ship in its original box with the original Colt.”

Colt Anaconda 5-inch 44 Magnum from the Colt Custom Shop

Does Colt still make a 44 Magnum? Yes, they do!

This Colt Anaconda 5″ 44 Mag went on sale on GunBroker.com in May 2023, with item # 986789147. The product listing states: This Colt Anaconda features a factory stainless steel finish, sporting the Never Seen 5″ barrel, Iconic 44 Magnum Cartridge, and a set of the most amazing set Culina Custom Smooth Walnut target grips with Silver Colt medallions in perfect condition. The revolver comes as shown in the factory original Colt Custom Shop blue box with outer sleeve, manual, paperwork, hangtag, original test target, Colt letter of authenticity, original end label, and the original shipping carton. According to our research, it was shipped on June 1st, 2022 wearing serial number AC204187.

This Colt Anaconda was specially ordered and hand-made by the masters at the Colt Custom Shop featuring Factory Custom 5″ barrel, Retro 1st Generation Anaconda roll marks, Retro brushed finish like the originals, Custom machined crown like the originals, and last but not least a Custom fitted Partridge front sight with brass bead. Even though the letter does not state production this is the only one they ever made and will ever make! This Anaconda remains consumer unfired and is listed as New Old Stock.

First Year Colt Custom Shop SAA New Frontier 4-3/4″ Royal Blue 45LC – 2012

This First Year Colt Custom Shop SAA New Frontier 4-3/4″ went on sale on GunBroker.com in May 2023, with item # 989285824. The product listing states: “First Year Colt Single Action Army SAA New Frontier Colt Custom Shop special ordered model wearing the stunning factory original Royal Blue / Color Case Hardened finish, sporting the sought after 4-3/4″ barrel, Scarce 45 Long Colt Cartridge and an Amazing set of factory original special order smooth walnut grips with Gold Colt medallions in perfect condition. It comes in the factory original Colt Custom Shop blue box with manual, paperwork, hangtag, and no end label/sleeve. According to our research, she was built in 2012, wearing serial number NF20349. This Colt SAA is the “349th” New Frontier made by the Colt Custom Shop, with only around 1200 ever produced after the reintroduction in 2012 until they were discontinued a few years later. These Late 3rd Gen New Frontiers are extremely well built with the most amazing Royal Blue finish you will ever see!”
