Buyer Protection Program (BPP)
Buyers wishing to file a claim under the Buyer’s Protection Program (BPP) must follow the process outlined below. All claims are subject to the Program Limitations. To avoid delay and/or denial of claims, buyers should carefully follow the BPP Claim Process within the deadlines listed below.
BPP Claim Process
1. | Contact Seller | The Buyer and Seller must be residents of the United States of America. | |

2. | File Claim | Between 30 and 60 days from the auction end date or purchase date | You must file a BPP claim with GunBroker.com between 30 and 60 days from the auction end date or purchase. |

3. | Send Required Documents | GunBroker.com will ask you, the buyer, to send proof of payment by mail or support issue. GunBroker.com may ask you to send the following:

4. | Claim is Reviewed | GunBroker.com will review all the required documents to your claim. GunBroker.com will also try and reach out to the Seller for their side of the story. GunBroker.com gunsmith may be required to inspect the item. GunBroker.com will approve or deny your claim. |

4. | Affidavit is sent | If GunBroker.com approves your claim, GunBroker.com will send you, the Buyer, an affidavit to sign. The affidavit states you agree you did not receive the item, or, the item received will be shipped to a gunsmith chosen by GunBroker.com. Once you sign the affidavit, you, the Buyer, will return the document to GunBroker.com. |

4. | Process Payment | Once GunBroker.com receives the affidavit, GunBroker.com will process your payment and send you the correct refund. | |

5. | Cancel BPP Claim | Anytime | If the Seller sends you, the Buyer, the item you won from the auction to your satisfaction.

Seller steps to respond to a BPP Claim
1. | Buyer files BPP claim | Some time between 30 and 60 days from the item end date/time | The Buyer of an Item you listed files a BPP claim against you, the Seller. The Buyer started the process because they have not received the item from you or the item was not as advertised. |

2. | Seller disputes the BPP Claim | Some time after the BPP Claim was filed | If you feel the Buyer has filed the BPP claim in error, you can dispute the BPP claim. You, the Seller, will need to fill out a form explaining your side of the story. The BPP Claim will have a “Dispute” status. If you refunded the Buyer, please have proof of the refund forwarded.
